School Clubs are an initiative to provide an opportunity to develop skills and attitude that may be an integral part of daily life. Moreover, the clubs also provide an exposure to explore creative areas of students.

To gain the better understanding of the world it is necessary to provide students with real-world experiences, explore new places, and face a range of new challenges. School trips make a major contribution to the acquisition of knowledge, develop skills and build camaraderie. The trips & tours and camps (Night and Day Adventure Camps) at St.Xavier's are educative and edifying.

Sports :-

St. Xavier's World School strongly believes in the adage “ A healthy mind in a healthy body”. Games and sports are an integral part of our curriculum. They play a vital role in the overall development of the child. In addition to building a robust physique, they help in instilling character traits like team-spirit, concentration, self-discipline, camaraderie, taking victory and defeat in one’s stride etc. Regular Physical Education periods are assigned in the school timetable to develop brawn with brains in all the students.. The school provides outstanding sports facility for the following games under the guidance of professionally trained coaches.

Houses :-

The house system was devised to promote team spirit and a sense of belonging to the school. Also, this enables the senior students of the school to provide care and direction to their junior schoolmates. The House System provides excellent opportunities for student leadership and peer group support.

UJJAIN HOUSE – Ujjain house is named after 'Ujjain' which was the center of religion and learning . The yellow colour represents wisdom and teaches students to be wise,humble and kind to every being on Earth.

NALANDA HOUSE – Nalanda was a renowned Buddhist University in the ancient Kingdom of Magadha in 15th century and the house is named after it.The red colour of the house marks primal life forces for health ,life and courage

TAKSHILA HOUSE - The house name is derived from the ancient city of learning known as Takshila .The house with its light blue colour flag signifies peace,trustworthiness and reliability.

SANCHI HOUSE – The Sanchi House is named after the great Buddhist stupa at Sanchi .The green colour of the house symbolize the spirit of harmony and growth.

Environment Club

“The earth does not belong to us: we belong to the Earth” .

The members of the Environment Club at St.Xavier's take initiative to instill a sense of responsibility towards the environment and a personal commitment to protect and preserve it.

Coding Club

The Coding Club helps students develop programming skills and inspires them to pursue future programming and other digital careers. It teaches not only how the programming language works, but also how to use it for a specific purpose based on the field the student wishes to pursue. Members of Bits ‘N’ Bytes believe in sharing their knowledge, and they do so by organizing regular workshops for the peer students of the school.

Maths Club

“The pure mathematician is a free creator of his world of ordered beauty”.

The Maths Club develops logical intelligence and also supports in enhancing high order thinking skills amongst the students. Maths club is dedicated to extra-curricular maths get-togethers that breathe new life into maths beyond the classroom. They come in all shapes and sizes and there is no one model that works for every school. However, they all focus on two things: having fun with maths and learning.

Dramatics Club

The Drama society envisages developing the self- confidence, improve aesthetic, creativity, enhance public speaking abilities and provide deep insight into the ‘hues of life’ . Theatre Education is vital for all round development of the child. It enhances self-Confidence which helps in learning by doing in class and performing for an audience. It teaches students to trust their ideas and abilities. Theatre education leads to curiosity and imagination in students. In a world addicted to technology, theatre provides an outlet for making creative choices and thinking new ideas.

Happy Club

Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if only one remembers to turn on the inner lights.” With Happy Club- Ananda, we aim at making the school campus a more emboldened and positive space for students, so that they feel elated and confident. In Ananda, the focus is entirely on searching the ways and means to make the students happier and build an environment that is surrounded with positivity and happiness. We aspire to create a happy space where students feel free to express their feelings; be mindful as well as calm and find happiness in all the little things around them.

Interact Club

Community service brings people together and engages them for a common cause. It teaches people about compassion, selflessness and empathy. That is what the Interact Club of our school has sought to do since the past years. A club with the prime motive to give back to society and help it, it also helps the students to develop character, leadership and organizational skills. The Interact Club urges students to work beyond self, for the society at large and the country as a whole.

Synchronicity – The Western Instrumental Music Club

Playing instruments is an integral part of a balanced music program. The specialized study of instrumental music further enhances student learning in music. Instrumental music is: an enrichment of the normal classroom music program in schools.

The Indian Instrumental Music Club

The classical music of North India (Hindustani music) has roots in Persian Musiqi-e assil folk music, Sufi songs, Vedic chants, and the region’s own folk traditions. Although it is primarily a vocal-based music, the classical Hindustani music on this album is played on a variety of traditional instruments.

Dance Club :-

Western Dance

These Dance forms helps and provide flexibility, muscular strength and cardio – vascular fitness. For example, the moves used in jazz and freestyle hip-hop include jazz hands, kicks, tapings move, body waves, shuffling, ball change, different turns etc. and lyrical & contemporary include strong and controlled legwork. Lyrical and contemporary dance stress on the torso, and also employs contact – release floor work and improvisation characteristic of modern dance.

Classical Dance

To encourage and appreciate to study of performing arts particularly Bharatanatyam as an Indian classical dance form. To develop the skill by training & practical approach by using modern technology amongst the students in Bharatanatyam. To introduce and create a strong foundation for further perseverance of learning the subtle nuances of Bharatanatyam which will help creating a convincing performer.The overall approach will be flexible and open to accept new challenges and execute programmes independently, as a part of school performing arts activity.

- Art & Craft Club

At ‘Quill & Canvas’ the Art Room at St Xavier's World School, Ghaziabad, activities are designed to foster artistic expression & creativity in Xaverians.

An assortment of Art & Craft related activities are offered to the students to inculcate an ‘Artistic Temperament’. The art work of students is regularly displayed within the school and other Art exhibitions to motivate the young artists.

Yoga & Aerobics

Yoga’s a Hindu spiritual & ascetic discipline apart of which including breath control, simple meditation and the adoption of specific bodily posters is widely practiced for health and relaxation.

We at St. Xavier's that a healthy mind resides in a healthy body.Yoga and aerobics exercises are undertaken to channelize the energies of the students

Physical activity such as walking, jogging, Indore cycling or aerobic dancing is all example of aerobic exercise that strength the heart and lungs, therefore improving your body utilization of oxygen.

Career & Guidance Cell :-

The focus of the Career Counselling Centre at St.Xavier's World school is on providing students the best post-secondaryschooling and career guidance to suit their interest and aptitude. A comprehensive counselling programme initiative is designed to support and guide you through the complexities of the admission process. Career counselor’s will help students develop a better understanding of their skills, abilities, and career interests.

We at St.Xavier's World school, believe in providing continuous guidance to the students to reach their dream colleges which will then enable them to realize their life goals.
